Bring the Outside In

The beauty of a really large window is usually not the window itself. It’s the beauty the window provides us.

One of my favorite transoms with an arch top that matches the grids of the sliders below.  I can imagine those two people enjoying a winter snow storm on this glassed-in porch.

Of all the wonderful places to stand in front of a stove!  I love this idea.  With today’s microwaves installed above the cooktop, it can get so gloomy, that no matter what time of day; cooking requires an electrical light.   This beautiful window not only lets in enough light to cook by, but let’s the cook enjoy a view, instead of a blank wall.  Brilliant!

When this fabulous door wall folds easily onto itself,  it instantly blurs the line between inside and outside.  Fabulous for entertaining!

The sky's the limit!

The trees lend privacy to these towering grids of windows and architecturally they help visually balance the weight of this very substantial fireplace wall.  Can you imagine this scene in winter with the trees covered in snow?  Heavenly!

This looks like a beautiful painting of a forest to be enjoyed from the dining and the kitchen and rooms beyond.  With outdoor up lights highlighting the trees, this would be equally as lovely at night.

Be smart and think ahead when choosing your windows.  Look outside the walls to see what your windows could capture.  Prescott Window and Door, working with your architect, builder, and designer can help make it happen.  The sky’s the limit!
